We attended a seminar in one of the rooms upstairs. We both had steak filet and it was delicious. I had mine medium & my wife was well. Expecting them to be the same, they were perfectly cooked. I'd say it's business casual, a bit upscale. Good for a special occasion.

The freshness and lightness of the Caesar salad, the wedge salad, and pork belly started our meals. The dressing was perfectly balanced with the size of the dish. We enjoyed the Kansas City Strip steaks, with sides of bordelaise and brandy au poivre, and fresh Sea Bass, all recommendations from our server who knew the menu and wasn't afraid to share her menu insight. My wife commented that this Sea Bass was the best seafood she ever tasted. The Cabernet paired with the steak, another recommendation from our server, brought utter perfection to the main course. The lobster mac and cheese was loaded with fresh lobster and the truffle fries were so light and crispy, like no truffle fry I've ever seen anywhere. We finished our meal with peanut butter mousse. It was so light with perfectly balanced sweetness. All ingredients were impeccably fresh, and the presentation was nothing short of artful. The ambiance at 9 Prime is both elegant and comfortable, striking the perfect balance between upscale dining and a relaxed atmosphere. The soft lighting, live jazz music, at least on this Saturday night, and artful decor create an environment that is perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. It's a place where you can unwind and savor your meal, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out. Ask for a table on the 2nd floor overlooking the main foyer. A coat service is needed for a restaurant with this level of service and food. Service at 9 Prime is nothing short of exemplary. A special shout out to Kendel, a marketing major at West Chester University. She brought expertise, attention, and fun to our dining experience. The staff overall is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. From the moment you are seated, you are treated with the utmost care and professionalism. The servers are adept at recommending dishes and wine pairings, and their attention to detail is evident in every interaction. 9 Prime in West Chester, PA, offers a dining experience that is second to none. It beats the likes of The Capital Grille and Del Frisco's. With its exceptional food, charming ambiance, beautiful decor, and outstanding service, it is a restaurant that leaves a lasting impression. We have been frequent visitors since they opened. Scallops are always perfect; calamari is the best; drinks consistently delicious; truffle fries and brussels a staple; and now, we can say the NY strip, blue cheese crust with brandy au poivre is hands down the best we have ever had. The servers are attentive and knowledgeable and the restaurant is stunning. Live music is a nice addition to the vibe of the restaurant. We will continue to be 9Prime guests.

We celebrated my wife's mothers 85 birthday and everything was fabulous, from the wine, our perfectly cooked steaks and our sumptuous dessert. We were able to put a heart box with earrings in one of the vintage safety deposit boxes, in the vault. So cool. She was surprised and said this was the best experience that she will remember on this special day. Many thanks to Chase and Nicole for making everything prefect. I usually feel like Yelp reviews are pretty accurate, but in this case I feel that 9Prime is getting the short end of the stick. First of all, it's one of the few fine dining restaurants in West Chester which in itself should count for something. Secondly - the food and cocktails were really good. Is it competing with the top steakhouses in Philly? No, but come on it's better than the majority of options in the area. The service could have been a bit better - they were a bit slow and maybe understaffed, but I have faith they'll continue to work out the kinks. If you want a a place for a good date night or slightly more upscale restaurant in the area, check it out and make your own opinion.

The food is consistently solid and portions are not cheap. Bar program is a cut above the rest; first rate! Bar staff is professional and knowledgeable. Cool luxe vibe.
